The display of information shown below DEPENDS ON THE VEHICLE EQUIPMENT AND COUNTRY.
Instrument panel A or B: it illuminates when the ignition is switched on.

In some cases, the appearance of a warning light is accompanied by a message on the
instrument panel.
Tip
Warning light means you should drive very carefully to an authorised dealer as soon as possible. If you fail to follow this recommendation, you risk damaging your vehicle.
WARNING
If the warning light appears, for your safety you must stop the vehicle as soon as traffic
conditions allow. Switch off the engine and do not restart it. Call an approved dealer.
WARNING
If no lights or sounds are apparent, this indicates a fault in the instrument panel.
This indicates that it is essential to stop immediately (as soon as traffic conditions
allow). Ensure that the vehicle is correctly immobilised and contact an approved Dealer.

- Urgent stop warning lightThis lights up when the ignition or engine is switched on and goes out as soon as the engine is running. It comes on with other warning lights and/or messages, and is accompanied by a beep.For your own safety, it requires you to stop immediately, as soon as traffic conditions allow. Switch off the engine and do not restart it.Call an approved dealer.
- Brake circuit fault warning lightIt lights up when the ignition or the engine is switched on and goes off after a few seconds.If it comes on during braking and is accompanied by the warning light and a beep, it indicates that the fluid level in the circuit is low or that there is a braking system fault.Stop as soon as traffic conditions allow and consult an approved dealer.
- Battery charge warning lightIt lights up when the ignition or the engine is switched on and goes off after a few seconds.If it comes on on the road, accompanied by the warning light and a beep, this indicates an overload or discharge in the electrical circuit.Stop as soon as traffic conditions allow and consult an approved dealer.
- Oil pressure warning lightIt lights up when the ignition or the engine is switched on and goes off after a few seconds.If it comes on on the road, accompanied by the warning light and a beep, stop immediately and cut the ignition.Check the oil level. If the level is normal, the warning light is related to something else.Call an approved dealer.
- Variable power assisted steering warning lightIt lights up when the ignition or the engine is switched on and goes off after a few seconds.If it comes on while driving, alongside the warning light , this means there is a system fault.Call an approved dealer.
- "AUTOHOLD" system warning light "AUTOHOLD" FUNCTION
- Warning lightThis lights up when the ignition or engine is switched on and goes out as soon as the engine is running. It can light up in conjunction with other warning lights and/or messages on the instrument panel. It means you should drive very care- fully to an approved Dealer as soon as possible. If you fail to follow this recommendation, you risk damaging your vehicle.
- Warning lightIf it appears in red during driving and is accompanied by the indicator light, you must, for your safety, stop as soon as traffic conditions allow. Switch off the engine and do not restart it. Call an approved dealer. If it appears in yellow during driving and is accompanied by the warning light, visit an approved dealer as soon as possible. Meanwhile, drive with care.If you fail to follow this recommendation, you risk damaging your vehicle.

- Warning light for the electronic stability program (ESC) and traction control systemIt lights up when the ignition or the engine is switched on and goes off after a few seconds.The DRIVER CORRECTION DEVICES AND AIDS warning light may appear for several reasons.
- Warning light for non-availability of the electronic stability program (ESC) and traction control system
- Anti-lock braking warning lightIt lights up when the ignition or the engine is switched on and goes off after a few seconds.If it comes on when you are driving, it indicates a fault on the antilock braking system.Braking will then be as normal, without the ABS. Contact your approved Dealer straight away.
- Particle filter system warning light SPECIAL FEATURES OF PETROL VERSIONS
- Tyre under-inflation warning lightThis lights up when the ignition is switched on or when the engine starts, then disappears after a few seconds TYRE PRESSURE LOSS WARNING.
- Toxic fume filter system warning lightOn vehicles that are equipped, this light comes on when the engine is started and, depending on the vehicle, when the ignition is switched off while the engine is in the standby phase STOP AND START FUNCTION, before going out.
- If it lights up continuously, contact an approved dealer as soon as possible;
- If it flashes, reduce the engine speed until the light stops flashing. Contact an approved dealer as soon as possible MAINTENANCE AND ANTIPOLLUTION ADVICE.
- Low fuel level warning lightIt lights up orange when the ignition or the engine is switched on and goes off after a few seconds.If the light becomes orange while driving and a beep sounds, fill up with fuel as soon as possible. There is only approximately 31 miles (50 km) worth of fuel left.

- Freewheel indicator light
- Coolant temperature warning lightThis lights up blue when you switch on the ignition or start the engine.If it turns red, stop and let the engine idle for a minute or two.The temperature should lower and the warning light should return to a blue colour. Otherwise, stop the engine. Let the engine cool down before checking the coolant.Call an approved dealer.

- "Driver vigilance warning" function fault warning lightDRIVER VIGILANCE WARNINGIt lights up to signal a fault with the driver vigilance warning. Contact your approved Dealer straight away.
- Electrotechnical system warning lightIt lights up along with the warning light and a beep when the electrical assembly temperature is too high. Stop the vehicle and switch off the ignition. Consult an approved dealer.If it lights up accompanied by the warning light, a beep and the "EVACUATE IN SAFETY" message, switch off the ignition and do not restart the engine. Leave the vehicle and consult an approved dealer.
WARNING
The "EVACUATE IN SAFETY" message accompanied by the warning light and a beep indicates that for your safety you must stop the vehicle
immediately, depending on the traffic conditions. Switch off the ignition. Leave it
switched off. Exit the vehicle, get all passengers out of the vehicle and keep them
away from the vehicle and traffic.
Fire hazards
WARNING
If the vehicle is parked on the hard shoulder, you must warn other road users of your
vehicle's presence with a warning triangle or with other devices as per the legislation
applying to the country you are in.
- Secondary 12 V battery charge warning lightIf it comes on, accompanied by the warning light and a beep, this means that the electrical circuit is overcharged or discharged SECONDARY 12 V BATTERY.
- Traction battery fault warning lightIf it appears, accompanied by the warning light, this indicates a fault related to the operation of the traction battery. Contact your approved Dealer straight away.
- Traction battery gauge warning lightThis appears in yellow when the traction battery charge level has reached the reserve level DISPLAYS AND INDICATORS.
- Electric operating mode warning lightIt is displayed when only the electric motor and traction battery are powering the movement of the vehicle E-TECH FULL HYBRID.
- Electrotechnical motor fault warning lightWhen it comes on, this indicates an electrotechnical fault related to the electrical assembly (traction battery and electric motor). Contact your approved Dealer straight away.
- Electric motor fault warning lightWhen it comes on, this indicates a fault with the electrotechnical system linked to the electric motor. Contact your approved Dealer straight away.
