Passenger compartment storage, fittings

WARNING
Ensure that no hard, heavy or pointed objects are placed in the "open" storage compartments in such a way that they may fall onto passengers during sharp turning, sudden braking or in the event of an accident.
WARNING
Nothing should be placed on the floor (area in front of the driver) as these objects may slide under the pedals during sudden braking manoeuvres, thus obstructing their use.
WARNING
Do not hang any heavy and/or sharp objects which may fall whilst driving.
Risk of injury.

Front storage compartments

Front door storage compartments

Storage compartment 1
Do not use it as a handle to close the door.
Storage compartment 2
Storage compartment 3
It can hold a 1.5 litre bottle.

Sun visor and cab upper storage compartments

Sun visor 4: can be used to store motorway tickets, cards, etc.
Cab upper storage compartments 5 and 6: reserved for transporting objects.
Tip
Maximum weight allowed in the cab upper storage compartment 5: 5 kg uniformly distributed.

Driving position storage compartments

Cup holders 7: these can be used to hold a can or an ashtray.
WARNING
When turning corners, accelerating or braking, ensure that the receptacle being held by the cup holder is not dislodged.
There is a risk of burning if hot liquid escapes.
Storage compartments 8 and 9

Centre console storage compartment and induction charging zone

Closed storage compartments 11 and 13: to open them, press control 10 or 12.
WARNING
Always leave the storage compartment cover closed while you are driving:
  • there is a risk of injury when braking suddenly or in the event of an accident;
  • there is a risk of objects being hurled through the passenger compartment.
Cup holder 14 and 15
WARNING
When turning corners, accelerating or braking, ensure that the receptacle being held by the cup holder is not dislodged.
There is a risk of burning if hot liquid escapes.
Radio location 16
Induction charging zone 17: for more information on the induction charging zone, please refer to the multimedia instructions.

Additional storage compartments

Glovebox 1: to open it, press the control 2 or, depending on the vehicle, raise the paddle. It can hold objects such as A4 documents, a 2 litre bottle of water, etc. Depending on the vehicle, it may be ventilated and refrigerated.
Tip
Maximum weight allowed in the glovebox 1: 4 kg evenly distributed.

Trays

Central tray 3
Pull the tray 3 as far as possible towards you. Turn it and push it fully. You can attach it using the clip 4 for documents in A5. To refit it, pull the table tray fully towards you, lift it up until it is horizontal and push it in fully.
Passenger-side tray 6
To open it, press the control 5.
Tip
Weight permitted on the tray 6: 25 kg evenly distributed.

Can holder 8

WARNING
When turning corners, accelerating or braking, ensure that the receptacle being held by the cup holder is not dislodged.
There is a risk of burning if hot liquid escapes.
To open it, press the control 7.

Seatback in table position

On equipped vehicles, lower the central seatback by raising the control 12.
The central seatback is equipped with the following features:
  • a tray 9 which can be pivoted towards the driver's side (depending on the vehicle);
  • a storage compartment 10.
  • can holders 11;
Tip
Make sure the tray is put back in place correctly before lifting the central seatback. Check that the back of the centre seat is properly locked.
Tip
Ensure that nothing is obstructing the operation of the folding tray.
WARNING
It is forbidden to sit in the centre seat if its seatback is folded down.

Rear storage compartment

Clothes hooks 1

Storage compartment under front bench seat 4

To access it, pull tab 2 or 3.
To close the storage compartment, push the rear of the seat base as far as possible. Make sure that no object prevents the proper locking of the cushions in the closed position.

Storage compartment underneath rear bench seat

The seat base 5 can be raised to allow access to the storage compartment located underneath the bench seat.
WARNING
Check that the rear seat belts are positioned and operating correctly each time the rear seats are moved.

Rear load area upper storage compartment 6

Reserved for the transport of objects only.
Tip
Maximum weight allowed in the rear load area upper storage compartment 6: 35 kg evenly distributed.
