SYSTEM SETTINGS
Accessing the system settings | |
From the main menu, press “System”. The “System settings” menu enables you to adjust the following elements: - “Language”; - “Display”; - “Sound”; - “Clock”; - “Safety warnings”; - “Home screen”; - “Keyboards”; - “Set units”; - “Status & Information”; - “Remove SD-card”; - “Restore factory settings”; - “Android Auto Settings™". |
“Language” | |
This menu enables you to select a language to apply to the system. Select the desired language, then a voice. | |
“Display” | |
This menu enables you to adjust the following settings: - “Daytime brightness”; - “Nighttime brightness”; - “Automatic day/night mode”: select this option to enable the display to switch automatically from Night mode to Day mode. The system switches to Night mode when the external light is low or when the headlights are lit; - “Force night mode”: select this option to force the display to switch to Night mode. |
“Sound” | ||
This menu enables you to adjust the following settings: | ||
“Sound levels” | ||
This function allows you to set the main sound levels: - traffic information; - hands-free system; - phone ringtone; - navigation instructions; - synthetic voices; - application alerts. | ||
“Speed sensitivity volume” | ||
This function allows you to automatically increase the volume based on vehicle speed. | ||
“Voice output settings” | ||
Use this option to choose the type of information dictated by the Navigation system voice. | ||
“Voice” | ||
This function allows you to choose the system voice. Please refer to the “Volume and voice” section for further information. |
“Clock” | |
This menu lets you set the system clock and the format of the time display. It is recommended to keep the automatic setting. | |
“Safety warnings” | |
This menu lets you activate or deactivate the alerts provided by the system. Tick the alert boxes you wish to activate. |
“Home screen” | |
This menu lets you adjust the layout of the home screen. Choose one of the configurations from the left-hand list. The right section of the screen gives a preview of the changes. According to the equipment of your vehicle, the number of configurations may be reduced. Once you have chosen a configuration, press the “Done” button to confirm your choice. |
“Keyboards” | |
This menu lets you choose the type of virtual keypad used by the system: - choose an alphabet type from Latin, Greek and Cyrillic, then press next; - choose a keypad type from the choices on offer, then press “Done” to confirm your selection. | |
“Set units” | |
This menu allows you to choose the type of unit for various elements: - “Distance units”; - “GPS co-ordinate display”; - “Temperature units”; - “Barometer units”. |
“Status & Information” | |
This menu gives you various pieces of system information: - version information; - status of the GPS; - network status; - licences; - copyright. | |
“Remove SD-card” | |
This menu enables you to eject the SD card safely. To remove the SD card from the SD port, please refer to “SD card: use, initialisation”. |
“Restore factory settings” | |
This menu allows you to delete all information from the system. Note: after resetting, the system will restart in English. To change the language, please refer to the information on “Language” in this section. | |
Android Auto Settings™ | |
This menu allows you to set the preferences for the “Android Auto™” application and access the instruction tutorial for the application on your vehicle's multimedia system. |
