Fuel tank
Your vehicle has a filler flap with an integrated cap.
- With the vehicle unlocked, to open the cover press in the zone A and pull the cover;
- If, while driving, the low-fuel warning light L appears, fill up with fuel as soon as possible.
- When the warning light comes on, you have approximately 30 miles (50 km) left if you drive at moderate speed.

Depending on the vehicle, the tank capacity is:
- about 11 gallons (50 litres) for petrol versions;
- about 10.8 gallons (49 litres) for four door diesel versions;
- about 9.9 gallons (45 litres) for five-door and estate diesel versions.
Reagent tank
With the vehicle unlocked, press area A then release: the cover 1 opens slightly. Unscrew the cap 2.
The useful capacity of the fuel tank is approximately 3.5 gal (16 litres).
In extreme cold weather conditions (- 10°c approximately), it becomes impossible to add reagent to the tank.
Fill up with reagent once the warning light comes on on the instrument panel.

Tyre inflation kit/Emergency spare wheel
Depending on the vehicle, in the event of a puncture, there is either a tyre inflation kit 3 or emergency spare wheel available.
To access it, lift the luggage compartment carpet.
Using the inflation kit is a complex operation. Please refer to Section 5 of your driver’s handbook.

Folding down the rear bench seatback
Depending on the vehicle, from the boot, pulling the control 4 enables you to unlock the rear bench seatbacks with one movement to get a flat floor.

Luggage compartment
Rear parcel shelf
To remove the rear parcel shelf:
- unhook the two cords 5 (boot side);
- unclip the rear parcel shelf and pull it towards you;
- remove the shelf from the housing.
To refit, proceed in the reverse order to removal.

Luggage cover
Press handle 6 to release the pins from their mounting points located on each side of the luggage compartment.
Allow the luggage cover to roll up.

“Hands-free” function
If your vehicle is fitted with this, the “hands-free” function enables access to the boot, even with your hands full.
With the RENAULT card around 1 metre from the centre area of the rear bumper and the ignition off, stand approximately 45 cm from the rear bumper and move your foot forwards and backwards in zone 7. Do not keep your foot in the air. Perform the movement without stopping and without touching the rear bumper. The boot opens automatically.
