CHOICE OF DRIVING MODE
Driving mode activation control
Depending on the vehicle, you have five modes available:
- Comfort mode;
- Neutral mode;
- Sport mode;
- Race mode;
- Perso mode.
In Sport and Race modes, the Stop and Start function is disabled.

Comfort mode
Comfort mode focuses on energy saving. Engine and gearbox management (depending on the vehicle) enable fuel consumption to be lowered. Air conditioning is managed to be used only when necessary.
Comfort mode can be accessed by selecting it in the “Multi-Sense” menu (refer to the information on “Multi-Sense” in Section 2 of the driver's handbook).
Neutralmode
It is the default operating mode, for the engine, gearbox, ESC system and traction control each time the ignition is switched on.

Mode Sport
You can modify the operating settings:
- the engine;
- the gearbox (depending on the vehicle);
- the ESC system and traction control;
- the power-assisted steering.
Sport mode is accessible:
- by pressing the switch 1;
- by selecting it in the “Multi-Sense” menu (refer to the information on “Multi-Sense” in Section 2 of the driver's handbook).
The Sport warning light comes on on the instrument panel, and the driving mode selection screen is displayed briefly on the multimedia screen 3.
For more information on the ESC system and traction control, refer to “Correction and driving aids” in Section 2 of the driver's handbook.

Inlet air temperature gauge 4
Displays the temperature of the air entering the engine.
Turbocharger pressure gauge 5
Displays the turbocharger effort in real time.
Race mode
Race mode is accessible:
- by pressing the switch 1;
- by selecting it in the “Multi-Sense” menu (refer to the information on “Multi-Sense” in Section 2 of the driver's handbook).
Race mode:
- completely deactivate the ESC system and traction control;
- makes cruise control unavailable;
- modifies the operating parameters of the gearbox (depending on the vehicle) and:
- disables the automatic change to top gear at maximum revolutions when the selector lever 2 is in M position,
and
- disables the vehicle's forward movement when the brake pedal is released, without depressing the accelerator pedal;
- modifies the operating parameters of the power-assisted steering;
- modifies the operating parameters of the four-wheel steering.

Perso mode
This mode allows you to configure manually:
- the engine and the gearbox;
- the ESC;
- the steering and the four-wheel steering;
- engine noise;
- the ambient lighting;
- the appearance of the instrument panel.
Perso mode can be accessed by selecting it in the “Multi-Sense” menu (refer to the information on “Multi-Sense” in Section 2 of the driver's handbook).
The ESC system and traction control offers additional safety. You are recommended not to drive with the function disabled. Correct this as soon as possible by pressing switch 1 again.
Hazard warning lights switching on
Depending on the vehicle, these may light up in the event of sudden deceleration.
When the engine is started, depending on the driving mode selected and the duration since the engine was last switched off, a message on the instrument panel will ask if you wish to keep the previous settings.
If no message is displayed on the instrument panel, Neutral mode is activated by default.
